ABOUT-SANDY

I'm an art-lover, hands-on builder and a passionated language-eater! My favorite things in life are smoothies, soul music, nature and to travel.

I love to write things down. It's the best way to keep my spontaneous ideas alive - and execute them.

My mother (German) came to Stockholm as her family moved here from Istanbul. My dad (Austrian) got a job in Stockholm and thought he'd work some in Sweden until he'd earn enough money to move to Australia. But love! My parents met, got kids, stayed in Stockholm and still live here.

In Amsterdam my colleague summarized my origin with; "Well, you're German with a Swedish expression on your face". Sometimes I call myself a European citizen when I travel.

My last trip went to New Zealand, where I stayed in an Ashram on the top of a "lord-of-the-ring-hill" (South Island). I hitchhiked the west coast and flew to Fiji as winter came to NZ. Sun, salty water and coconuts glorified my life a couple of weeks!

Back in Stockholm I had many new thoughts and impressions with me. Best thing to calm my mind was to write a list of things I really (!) want to do. Examples could be things such as "hands-on crafts" or "knit a scarf". This list works as my personal inspiration source, where I frequently add momental stuff I think of.

So here I am now, in the middle of inspiration executing ideas to celebrate creativity in life! I believe everyone has a story to tell - the story about their own life. No matter how that life looked like.

I broadcast my soul show 'GroovyTracks' live every week on Swedish radio called Radio Skanstull, work with scandinaviansoul.com, sell handmade Photoblocks on Etsy, Designtorget ('Commercial market place for unique design') & Fotografiska (The Swedish Museum of Photography) AND swim like a dolphin.

That's something about me. Don't hesitate to contact me :-)

Hope to hear from you!
